Turning Agricultural Residues Into Clean Power

This project was developed to address a common challenge for agricultural and industrial regions: large volumes of wood chips and crop residues with limited productive use.Instead of treating this biomass as a disposal issue, the plant converts it into reliable renewable electricity and measurable carbon impact. Today, the 6MW facility processes 120,000 tonnes of feedstock per year, generates 40 GWh of renewable electricity, and avoids approximately 70,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually. This project shows how agricultural waste can become a valuable energy resource for regions looking to reduce emissions and create local renewable power.‍
