Position: Process Engineer
Overview
You will work across project development, system optimisation, and technical analysis, collaborating closely with process, mechanical, and electrical engineers to deliver robust, scalable solutions for industrial clients.
This role involves hands-on technical work across feedstock analysis, energy and mass balance calculations, and system performance, contributing directly to the delivery of carbon-negative infrastructure projects across international markets.
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a motivated Process Engineer who is excited to work at the intersection of industrial energy, biomass utilisation, and climate solutions.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, curious, and comfortable working in early-stage project environments where systems are being designed, tested, and deployed in real-world conditions.
The right candidate will have:
- A degree in Process, Chemical, Energy, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Experience or strong interest in bioenergy, thermal processes, or industrial energy systems.
- Solid understanding of mass and energy balance calculations.
- Ability to analyse biomass feedstocks and translate data into practical system designs.
- Experience working across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to work across international projects and time zones when required.
Work at Carbon Negative Power
At Carbon Negative Power, you’ll work on real industrial bioenergy projects that deliver both commercial value and measurable climate impact.
You’ll be part of an international team where engineers are involved across the full project lifecycle, from early feasibility and system design to deployment and optimisation.
We offer a flexible working environment, exposure to global projects, and the opportunity to grow with a company building scalable, carbon-negative infrastructure.
