Position: Carbon Removal Analyst
Overview
As a Carbon Removal Analyst at Carbon Negative Power, you will support the analysis, structuring, and positioning of carbon removal and energy-related projects across international markets.
You will work at the intersection of engineering, project development, and carbon markets, analysing emissions reductions, carbon removal potential, and market pathways for high-quality credits linked to bioenergy and biochar systems.
This role involves supporting carbon accounting, market analysis, and project economics, while contributing to client, investor, and partner-facing materials that communicate the value of carbon-negative energy infrastructure.

We’re looking for an analytical and detail-oriented professional with a strong interest in carbon markets, climate policy, and energy-related carbon removal solutions.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with data, assumptions, and evolving methodologies, and enjoys translating technical carbon metrics into clear commercial and market insights.
The Right Candidate Will Have
- A degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Economics, Sustainability, or a related field.
- Experience or strong interest in carbon markets, carbon accounting, or climate-related analysis.
- Understanding of emissions reductions, carbon removal, and MRV frameworks.
- Ability to analyse data related to energy generation, feedstock use, and carbon performance.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work closely with technical teams to interpret system outputs.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in early-stage, fast-moving project environments.
